Anti-human trafficking unit inaugurated
BANGALORE: Under the police modernisation scheme, the State Government has approved the establishment of Anti-human Trafficking unit and it has started functioning from Friday.
City Police Commissioner B G Jyothiprakash Mirji said that the unit will be working under the supervision of city’s Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime) and the Central Crime Branch’s DCP will be its nodal officer. “Its office is stationed at CCB and a few staff including a police inspector will be working,” he said.
